Stephen Lake, co-founder and CEO, said: “Intel has been deeply supportive of North since early on. This deal highlights their ongoing commitment both to us and the future of innovation in this emerging category.”The deal will give the wearables company nearly 650 patents and patent applications by the end of the year, making it the holder of “one of the most robust smart glasses portfolios in the world”.It was reported in November that North had secured a $24 million investment from the government of Canada to be used building out its manufacturing capabilities in its home town of Kitchener-Waterloo.North is currently ramping activity for its Focus glasses, which include a transparent, holographic display that only the wearer can see.The $999 glasses are custom built and require a trip to a showroom in either Brooklyn or Toronto. Siya ready to do battle as Pieter-Steph returns

first_img From the magazine: Jano Vermaak names his Perfect XVSA Rugby MagUndo Siya Kolisi in training ‘ Published on April 29, 2021 Sean Everitt says Siya Kolisi is primed and ready to take on his former teammates when the Stormers host the Sharks on Saturday.READ: Kolisi starts in powerful Sharks sideThe clash at Cape Town Stadium will be the first proper competitive start for the Springbok captain since he returned from injury in the Preparation Series. It’s been a long road for Kolisi who struggled to find form earlier in the year, but Everitt believes that he’s ready now to make a mark.‘When Siya arrived at the Sharks he was under a lot of pressure and he’s stood up to it. He’s trained extremely hard. You will have seen in the Bulls game [during the Preparation Series] that he made some telling contributions that show he has made the step up.‘From a conditioning perspective he’s made massive improvements, so we’re happy with where he is now.’One key battleground for Saturday’s game will undoubtedly be the back row, with the Stormers likely to field Pieter-Steph du Toit.‘I know Pieter-Steph will be playing flank for them, so it’s going to be an equal battle to begin with. We’ve also got a dynamic loose trio with Siya, Notshe and Henco Venter and they bring a lot of experience.’Up front, the Sharks boast plenty of quality where Springboks Ox Nche and Thomas du Toit will look to overcome the power of the Stormers’ front row.‘With Ox and Thomas in the Springbok fold, along with Fez Mbatha, who must be knocking on the door, it’s a formula we’ll try to grow on its own.‘With their pack at full strength the challenge will come at scrum and lineout time. But when we last played them, the try that won it for us came from a turnover scrum against them.’The match will be many of the Sharks’ first at Cape Town Stadium, a challenge their coach is embracing.‘I’ve never been inside the stadium. I’ve never even been there for the sevens tournament, and the only guy with a bit of experience is Werner Kok.‘It is a new experience for us, but our players enjoy being in a new environment. It’s one of the reasons we tour so well. We’d like to put our marker down at Cape Town Stadium, like we did at Newlands.’ALSO READ: What’s in our latest issue?Subscribe herePhoto: Steve Haag/Gallo Images Posted in Pro14, Top headlines, Top story 熱門話題|SponsoredSponsoredUndo  699  53 Siya ready to do battle as Pieter-Steph returns Watch: Kolbe makes Test players look amateur – Ugo MonyeFormer England wing wing Ugo Monye says Springbok wing Cheslin Kolbe is one of the most devastating runners in the game ever.SA Rugby MagUndoHero WarsThis game will keep you up all night!Hero Wars|SponsoredSponsoredUndoDatemyage.comReason why mature men are the best men to date!|SponsoredSponsoredUndoCNAHow is life for Cambodian boy linguist after viral fame?CNA|SponsoredSponsoredUndoGoGoPeak10 Most Beautiful Cities You Should Visit Once In Your LifetimeGoGoPeak|SponsoredSponsoredUndoLoans | Search AdsLooking for loan in Hong Kong? Northrop Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Recieves Operation Approval from US Marine Corps

first_imgThe United States Marine Corps has now approved the Northrop Grumman AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR). This milestone follows the delivery of the final Lot 1 and Lot 2 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) G/ATOR system to the Marines. The USMC will field their first two systems by delivering them to Marine Air Control Squadrons 1 and 2 for operational use.Early fielding, also known as Initial Operational Capability (IOC), is a significant milestone that indicates that a system is ready for operational deployment. It is achieved when production systems, spares, logistic support items and documentation have been tested and validated through a rigorous process. As the developer and system integrator, Northrop Grumman has taken G/ATOR from concept through to production. The company has delivered six G/ATOR systems with Gallium Arsenide technology to the Marine Corps in Lots 1 and 2. Beginning with Lot 3 deliveries and including all Full Rate Production systems, G/ATOR will incorporate high power, high efficiency Gallium Nitride (GaN) antenna technology that can further enhance operational capabilities.Under a separate contract, Northrop Grumman will also provide logistics support to the Marine Corps for G/ATOR systems.last_img read more

Baca juga: Otoritas Penerbangan Pakistan Wajibkan Penumpang Gunakan Baggage WrappingJadi, sebagai pelancong yang bijak, pilih wrapping murah dengan melakukannya di rumah atau di bandara sebelum check in?Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading… Relatedlast_img read more
