Photo via Google Maps.By John Heinis/Hudson County View“On November 11, 2020, at the Board of Education’s regular meeting, after my recommendation the BOE voted to have our students continue to learn via remote instruction,” Guttenberg Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michelle Rosenberg wrote in a letter to parents on Thursday.“This decision was not made lightly and many factors were considered in order to come to this conclusion. We understand that this may be a hardship for some families, and I truly apologize for any inconvenience. However, this is a time in our society, in which we must put health and safety above all else.”Rosenberg further stated that while remote learning could last into next year, January 19th is a tentative date and the board will reevaluate their options at their upcoming December 9th meeting.Gov.
