Newport solicitors offer clients HR app

first_imgA top-10 firm in Wales has developed an employment law and human resource advice app to deliver a more interactive service to clients.Newport-based Harding Evans created the app in collaboration with HE Create & Consult, the Centre of Excellence in Mobile Applications and Services, and the University of South Wales. The app comes in four versions: one sold at £399 per year, a free version, a platinum bespoke option and a white label option. The free app gives guidance notes, checklists to ensure HR processes are in accordance with the law, and a calculator to work out maternity, redundancy and holiday pay.The paid app also offers employment contracts and policies, media learning, and CPD training and key documents.Daniel Wilde, a partner at Harding Evans, said: ‘This project came about following a strategic review into how businesses access employment law and HR advice services. It was through this that we identified a gap in the market for an HR app that offers tools and advice for both HR professionals and those working for SMEs who can’t afford a permanent HR resource.’As of 10 June, the free version had seven downloads, and seven companies had booked appointments to see demonstrations of the paid app.last_img
